OneLux Jewelry
OneLux was developed in the magical town of Haiku, Hawaii in 2006. Artist Karie Ociepka has been creating wearable art that captures light and energy through the use of precious metal and gemstones. While attending the Hui No’eau Visual Art Center in Makawao, Hawaii, Karie became drawn to the process of shaping metal into jewelry that reflect the vibrations of nature and the universe. After moving from Maui, Karie continued practicing metalsmithing at Sanctuary Art in Eliot, Maine. Now located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, OneLUX is always in search of diversity in the handmade original pieces. Whether drawing inspiration from the waves of Hawaii or the curves of the Baker River in New Hampshire, each piece is derived from a memory, feeling or visual experience.
